The baseline fee for an assessment + summary letter, charged at my full rate, will be $1,200, spread out over 6+ weeks. The total cost & length of a more in-depth process will vary, according to your specific needs & wishes (e.g., completing the online screeners during session, extra time needed to process & respond to questions, taking breaks due to overwhelm, etc.)
Deciding which plan is best for you:
What are your reasons for getting assessed?
improved self-understanding
confirm a self-diagnosis
pursue accommodations
access medication
something else?
Do you want/need a new therapist?
If you have a therapist already:
are you planning to return to work with them?
what is your therapist's capacity for supporting your post-assessment needs?
What is your financial situation? (see the sliding scale guidelines)
Considerations for pursuing assessment in the current climate
